In Memoriam: Gerry Cullen 1932-2005

Rest in peace Mr. Cullen. You will be very sadly missed.

(I'll put a 10 spot at the hippo for you)

Thanks Wanda, I was at Gerry Cullen's wake on Friday in Buckingham. I have been friends with Dave and his wife and children for many years, so it is always nice to read an ode to someone who was a father, husband, grandfather, and son.

How wonderful that you also got to the wake. Sorry I missed seeing you there. What a small world it is that you also knew Gerry. He was a great man, and always took time for me. I'll miss him terribly. Dave has promised to take me fishing, however (was the last thing I got to do with Gerry). All things continue--let's do them in love.

Having grown up in Pointe Claire, I know all too well what its like to be a pariah in one's own city. We tennis shoed teens with cords and matching jacket sure must have stuck out like a gout toe in good old Old Montreal. Ah the seventies, how soon we forget. Thanks for your response, I'll give Dave and the family a big embrace when next I see them. Have fun writing and exploring.

I didn't mean you were or are a pariah, just we Anglais without mopeds and sketchy moustaches.
